What “Inverted” Is

Inverted Hatch Mutation is the headline new mechanic of UPDATE #1 (2026-08-15). When you hatch any egg, there is a 0.5% chance the chicken comes out inverted (official patch notes). Inverted chickens get a stat boost and are marked “inverted” on their card in your flock inventory.

How to Get One

Hatch it directly — 0.5% chance on any egg hatch (official patch notes + confirmed by players).
Transfer it via fusion — fuse an inverted chicken with your main chicken for a chance to move the inverted status onto the main chicken. This is the standard route for building an inverted meta fighter.

⚠️ HOTFIX 1.1 nerf (2026-08-15)

“Fixed Fuse Balancing for Inverted Chickens” in HOTFIX 1.1. Players report the fusion transfer chance dropped from ~50% to 2–33% after the hotfix (multiple Discord reports, 08-16). The exact current probability is not officially published.

What It Does

Stat boost — community-measured example: inverted Reaper with 31/31 stats ≈ 224 HP, 21% power & speed, 22 attack (single player report).
Rarity floor — community claims “the worst inverted you can get is Legendary” (i.e. inverted pulls are at least Legendary rarity). Single-source community claim — unconfirmed.
Visual marker — flock inventory shows “inverted” on the chicken card.

Meta Fusion Targets (community)

Players are fusing inverted onto endgame fighters:

Reaper Rooster — inverted Reaper is the current meta; often combined with Voodoo (Doll Hen’s damage-reflection skill).
404 Chick — secret chicken; inverted 404 builds are heavily discussed.
Aurora Hen, Cosmic chickens — popular donors/bases.

Fusion tips from players: when fusing with a lower-tier inverted donor, lock the skill you want — stats don’t change, but the transferred skill selection matters.
