What Update 3 Added (2026-08-29)

UPDATE #3 went live on August 29, 2026 (official Discord #updates). The two headline mechanics are Battle Charms — rollable permanent stat boosts on each chicken — and Chicken Promotions, which spend duplicate chickens to raise stats and unlock charm slots. New content includes the Trick Egg, 12 new chickens, chicken Favoriting, and shop additions: a new Daily Reward, a new Pack, and Auto Rebirth.

Grab the new code BATTLEREADY on the codes page — it grants Charm Dust, a Royal Egg, and a Hatch Luck boost.

Battle Charms — How They Work

Battle Charms unlock at Rebirth Level 2 (see the rebirth guide if you’re not there yet). Each chicken carries its own charms as permanent combat boosts.

How to roll charms:

  1. Open the Flock and pick a chicken
  2. Click the “+” button
  3. Choose ROLL CHARMS — each roll costs 20 Charm Dust

Charm Slots & Promotion Unlocks

Every chicken has 8 charm slots (I–VIII). Only slot I is open by default — the rest unlock through Promotions:

Promotions (stars) Slots Unlocked
0★ (no promotion) I
2★ II
4★ III
6★ IV
8★ V, VI
10★ VII, VIII

You can lock a slot once you roll a stat you want — locking prevents further rolls on that slot but doubles the reroll cost for the chicken’s remaining rolls, so lock late, not early.

Charm Rarities & Drop Rates

Charm Rarity Chance
Common 49.8%
Uncommon 26.9%
Rare 17.9%
Super Rare 4.3%
Legendary 1.0%
Ascended 0.1%

Max stat boosts per charm (at the top of the roll pool): DEF 13.3%, HP 13.3%, CRIT 11.1%, CRIT RES 11.1%, CRIT DMG 11.1%, Ability Boost 8.9%, DMG Reduction 8.9%, Movement Speed 8.9%.

Fusion rule: charms only carry over when fusing chickens of the same rarity — fusion with a different-rarity donor loses the charms. Check the fusion guide before sacrificing a rolled chicken.

How to Get Charm Dust

  • Free daily claim — 100 Charm Dust in the Shop every day (new in Update 3)
  • Robux — Charm Dust packs are buyable in the Shop
  • Code BATTLEREADY — includes Charm Dust (active codes)

At 20 Dust per roll, the free daily claim alone is 5 rolls a day — slow but steady. Prioritize rolling on your best fighter first (see the ability tier list and best chicken picks).

Chicken Promotions

Promotions spend duplicate chickens to add a star (up to 10★). Each promotion:

  • Raises the chicken’s base stats
  • Unlocks charm slots (table above)

Duplicates you weren’t using for fusion now have a clear sink — promote your meta carries first. It pairs naturally with Favoriting (new in Update 3): favorite chickens you’re promoting or farming with so they’re protected from bulk selection and accidental fusing.

The Trick Egg

The Trick Egg is the new egg of Update 3 — and the hardest egg to farm in the game:

  • Only one chicken lays it: Catalyst Hen (Secret, 2% lay chance)
  • Catalyst Hen itself comes from the Colossal Egg at under 0.2% — see the eggs page for Colossal Egg sources
  • Hatch pool spans Rare to Secret, per-chicken rates not yet published
Trick Egg Hatches Rarity
Domino Chick Rare
Checkmate Hen Epic
Puzzle Hen Legendary
High Roller Rooster Cosmic
Ace Rooster Secret

Shop Additions

Alongside the free daily Charm Dust, Update 3 added a new Daily Reward, a new Pack, and Auto Rebirth — the official way to automate rebirths without scripts. See the gamepass & shop review before spending Robux.
